Our dietitian offers nutritional services to CRFHT patients. You can also book a one-to-one appointment for a more personalized service.

If you are interested in these services, please complete the following questionnaire and drop it off at the clinic reception desk. A secretary will contact you as soon as our services resume.

 

Our previous dietician recorded the following information sessions. You'll find the information and videos below.

 

This information session reviews the guidelines for the Mediterranean diet.
It will also cover recommendations on managing obesity, hypertension (high blood pressure) and dyslipidemia (high cholesterol).
 

 

Handouts on the Mediterranean Diet:

 

This information session will give you the knowledge you need to make informed choices when you do your grocery shopping.
You will learn the principles of food labeling, including how to correctly interpret the nutrition facts table and the list of ingredients.

 

 

 

This information session will discuss ways to promote digestive health and how to manage various gastrointestinal issues including those related to Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). 

Topics included: 

  • how to use food to help manage symptoms
  • links between our mental health and digestive health
  • how to choose a probiotic
  • brief introduction to the low FODMAP diet
